• Several coffee filters
• Hot water (straight from tap is fine)
• A container
• Several grams of potassium nitrate or similar oxidizing salt

=Steps=

1. Dissolve as much potassium nitrate (KNO3) into two tablespoons of hot tap water in the container
2. Soak coffee filters in this solution. Use up all of the solution
3. Hang them to dry for approximately 4 hours, depending on the relative humidity

=Tips=

• Use water as hot as possible. Boiling hot give best results, but isn’t necessary
• Cut the fuse paper in half and roll into a tube to make a fuse
• Make sure these dry thoroughly before use

=Warnings=

• Don’t scald your hands handling hot water. Use a rod or other utensil to soak the filters if the water is too hot
• This paper is highly combustible, and is somewhat difficult to put out

Need some supplies?

• 2 parts KNO3
• 1 part Flour
• Coffee Filter
• Twist tie
• Plastic bag or container
• Optional- Fuse

=Steps=

1. Measure 2 parts KNO3 to 1 part Flour (by weight!)
2. In a plastic bag or container, mix the ingredients thoroughly, ensuring an even mixture
3. Pour some of this mixture (however much you want) into a coffee filter and insert fuse (if you want)
4. Fold up the sides of the coffee filter and twist. Secure with a twist tie or similar item

=Usage Instructions=

1. Light fuse, or the top of the coffee filter
2. Pile up kindling and tender (eg: pine needles, newspaper, etc.) around the fire starter for best results

=Warnings=

• This mixture burns at high temperatures
• Use caution when using this product
• This is only for entertainment purposes

Need some supplies?

1. Fill a coffee filter with approximately 20 to 30 Airsoft BB’s. Enough to cover the bottom.
2. Pull the filter into a ball and insert firecracker all the way to the bottom of the filter
3. Twist up the filter around the firecracker and secure with a twist tie (bread tie)
4. If you want to extend the fuse, put the visco fuse next to the firecraker fuse before securing the filter

Minimum effective range: 5 yard radius, diminishes towards ground
